Wisconsin Dells Convention Hosting Stage II - Copyright Place Making Process

The Village of Lake Delton has given the Kalahari Resort 10 million publicly collected dollars to build a convention center ( 212 thousand square feet) capable of serving large regional - national groups.  This is expected to attract a huge new population of shared customers in to the Wisconsin Dells area.

The Wisconsin Dells Convention Hosting Stage II staff have been awarded a copyright titled - Place Making Process - Connecting Commercial Clusters.  This is an original modal that will be employed to promote Historic Down Town Baraboo to the huge new population of visitors coming for events scheduled at the Kalahari Resort Convention Center.

While still under construction - the community is hoping the new Kalahari Resort Convention Center will be operational within the last quarter of 2019.  An area specific online convention hosting industry site is being developed to support the work of non-local convention organizers and individual group members considering the Wisconsin Dells location.  This site is being called Wisconsin Dells Convention HUB Stage II and includes a Facebook page with free access.

These digital efforts are designed to improve the ability of Sauk County to receive a return on the hefty investments being made by the Village of Lake Delton.   This is a community building effort employing a digital form of promotion that facilitates local solutions within emerging opportunities to foster a mutually beneficial outcome.  The Wisconsin Dells area has entered stage II of the convention hosting industry.
