Wisconsin 1 in 5 Care Giver Positions Vacant - Shortage Crisis

The State of Wisconsin is in a care giver shortage that has reached crisis level.  The latest report published by the Wisconsin Coalition of Provider Associations shows that 1 in every 5 direct care giver positions across the State are currently vacant.

This increasing number of care giver vacancies is occurring at the same time the Wisconsin population is getting older - over 60 years of age.  Wisconsin long term care service providers are pushing referrals away due to lack of staff.

Home Care Path operates an elder care assistant program that enables experienced care givers to function more autonomously while supporting them with marketing, payroll, and billing tasks.

Lake Delton Fire 20K Reward Arson Investigation

Investigators of the January fire that destroyed a partially constructed employee housing building have increased the reward to 20 thousand dollars as an appeal to the public to help solve the declared act of arson.  The solving of the arson would help reduce the risk to additional arson fires in the community.

Wisconsin House Checks staff have been following the media reporting of this property crime.  The House Checks staff have not been informed of the date and time in which the initial investigation took place.  This would produce findings - such as the V shaped discoloration near sites of origin.  The investigation likely involved lab tests that can define the utilization of fire accelerants.

The media did release an out of focus picture of a person of interest - leaving the House Checks staff to question the identification of a similar person on other camera sources.  Wisconsin Dells is a tourist destination with cameras located in most private and public locations.  Tracking is a strategy where the investigators work outward from the site of the fire locating camera use. Follow up involves reviewing the camera images captured in the surrounding areas near the time of the fire.

Wisconsin House Checks is a service that combines geographical knowledge of the area to tasks designed to care for the safety of your property and belongings in the owners absence.  House Checks charges the property owner 20.00 dollars per visit.

The tasks performed by the individual staff person include:

- Foot patrol of the property checking doors, windows and out buildings looking for things out of place

- Trespassing alerts deters unfamiliar visitors in your absence

- Parking deterrent notifies of suspicious unwanted vehicles on property

- Maintenance record of lights out, broken fencing, open doors , high water, animal infestation etc

- Access control brings in mail and deliveries

Simply call 608-432-4286 and request a House Checks service to get started.  Charging 20.00 dollars per visit facilitates access to an affordable option for securing property and belongings in the owners absence.  Serving  from Tomah to Madison in the State of Wisconsin since 2010.

Displaced Care Givers 16 Nursing Homes Closed Since 2015 Wisconsin

Wisconsin is experiencing a care giver shortage that has reached crisis level.  Sixteen nursing homes in Wisconsin have closed since 2015.  Part of the reason being - difficulty staffing on a tight budget where the majority of residents have Medicaid as their pay source.

Aligning budgets with tighter regulations that limit and lower reimbursement has translated to low wages for staff.  Many of the displaced care givers have adapted to other employment settings - leaving direct care giving behind.

A common sign or symptom of this care giver shortage is the news media reporting the fining of  hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living dwellings for quality deficits.  Try to see this in the light of limited staff to perform the needed tasks that would bring quality measures to the desired assessment level.

We need to influence Congress to direct the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to work with States like Wisconsin to assure a primary trade line for direct care giver wages and compensation packages is included in their rate setting methodologies for long term care services.

Home Care Path operates an elder care assistant program that enables experienced care givers to function more autonomously while supporting them with marketing, payroll, and billing tasks.

Wisconsin Care Giver Shortage Crisis 2018 - Legislative Influence

Wisconsin is experiencing a care giver shortage that has reached crisis levels.  Care giving organizations are working to influence Wisconsin law makers to compensate for this crisis.  The crisis can be described as an inverse relationship.  The crisis means:

- Care giver participation is decreasing across the State of Wisconsin

-  While at the same time

- The elderly population needing care giver support is increasing

Recommendation:

The Wisconsin Department of Health and Human Services should work with State lawmakers to enable regulations that expand utilization of self - direction in long term supports so that family, friends, and neighbors can be hired as Direct Support Care Givers.

Home Care Path operates an elder care assistant program that enables experienced care givers to function more autonomously while supporting them with marketing, payroll, and billing tasks.

Wisconsin 2018 Care Giver Crisis

Wisconsin is currently experiencing a caregiver crisis- not enough staff to meet the growing need.  Care giving organizations across the State report an increased number of care giver vacancies.

To manage the risk, care giving organizations have been limiting admissions.  In times where there is not enough staff to meet the need - the community will see medical acuity being pushed down the health care continuum.  This simply means the medical care provider depends more upon family to perform the tasks that seem to be skilled care.

This lack of care givers is further complicated by the increasing number of people seeking long term care.  If you are a family seeking help for an elder or person with a disability - you soon discover there are not enough staff to help.

Cameras Installed Wisconsin Dells River Walk

Technicians have installed surveillance cameras over looking the Wisconsin Dells River Walk.  House Checks staff employ the availability of cameras that monitor public areas with identification and tracking.

The value is alerting law enforcement to an undesired event on the property of a House Checks client as close to the occurrence as possible.  Cameras employed near the site of the undesired event can be reviewed to match recorded images to assist with identification and tracking.

An example would be a fire in a vacant Airbnb property adjacent to the Wisconsin Dells River Walk is determined arson with a start time between 8pm and 11pm.  House Checks staff would request a review of the surveillance cameras along the River Walk near this time.

Law enforcement authorities would then compare the recorded images with the database of images to help identify the people of interest.  Several recorded images across the community can be used to track the persons movement and possible residence.

Wisconsin House Checks sends an individual staff person to walk your property checking doors, windows and out buildings in the occupants absence.  This is a human intervention to compliment your technological security. Simply call 608-432-4286 and request a House Checks service to get started.  Serving Wisconsin from Tomah to Madison since 2010.

Park 3 Dollars A Day Down Town Wisconsin Dells Memorial Weekend

On the fast approaching Memorial Day Weekend we are considering opening the familiar parking lot located in down town Wisconsin Dells at 814 Cedar Street, Wisconsin Dells, WI 53965.  Visitors can park for 3.00 dollars per day, no one gets parked in, you can leave and return multiple times, and no tickets or hefty fines should you need to leave the car parked over night.

This is a private parking option organized to compensate for the following Memorial Day weekend disruptions:

1.  The forecast is for excessively hot temperatures

2. Road construction continues to hamper the ability of shuttles to operate

3. Blockage includes loss of access to on street parking

The parking lot on 814 Cedar Street is in the exact center of down town Wisconsin Dells.  This can mean less walking to reach the shops and restaurants for family members who do not do well in hot temperatures.

Wisconsin Dells Ripe 4 Parking Solutions App

The time has arrived where the Wisconsin Dells area is worthy of a parking solutions App.  Private parking solutions have become the norm in the Wisconsin Dells area.

The large white dome near the ball fields off River Road privately charges a parking fee for attending guests.  During the heavily populated car show weekend in down town Wisconsin Dells guests are charged to park in the spacious lot on Cedar Street.  Off River Road between the River Walk Pub and the Dells Boat Company guests are privately charged to park while walking the world class amenity known as the River Walk.  Mount Olympus privately charges for parking near the water park.

City planners are beginning to see this seemingly disruptive business service as a means to grow the local economy.  Parking is no longer an over looked need during the Wisconsin Dells summer tourist season that runs from May 15th to August 15th.  Private parking solutions lower costs and improve access for visiting families.

Private parking solutions deliver a better experience for the consumer by eliminating the risk of tickets and heavy fines.  This is seen as essential to fostering return assurance.  We want visitors to come in to the area, find the service that best meets there need, and above all leave with the desire to return again.

As a community advocacy consultant I expect to see more emerging private parking solutions in the Wisconsin Dells area and a privately produced parking solutions App.

20k Reward Lake Delton Fire Chimney Flue - Wisconsin House Checks

The investigators working on the Lake Delton employee housing fire have increased the reward to 20K hoping more of the community will get involved.  Wisconsin House Checks staff walked about the area noting this to be one of the most populated parts of the greater Wisconsin Dells in January.

This picture shows where the edge of the building faces in to the Wilderness Resort activity.  The tall concrete walls seemed to function as a chimney flue pushing the fire produced smoke upward.  Initial media reporting indicate the responding fire departments immediately implemented containment to prevent the large burn from taking residence in the surrounding buildings.

Media reports identify 4am as the approximate time of discovery of the fire.  Viewing some of the photographs of the building engulfed in flames that seem to reach far in to the night sky - leaves Wisconsin House Checks staff questioning the issue of origination.  How many separate spots were ignited as origination.

Wisconsin House Checks sends an individual staff person to walk your property checking doors, windows and out buildings looking for things out of place in the occupants absence. The property owner is charged 20 dollars per visit.  The visits are conducted during day light hours.  Staff look inside from the exterior when ever reasonably possible. No Cameras Over There - Wisconsin House Checks

The Wilderness Resort Employee Housing Fire investigators increase the reward to 20k.  The building was partially constructed in January at the time of the fire.  This means the smoke alarm and sprinkler system were not installed.  The cameras were not yet installed.  The weather was cold and damp.

This photograph shows an opening at the base of the concrete walls which could facilitate access to the interior of the partially completed structure.  Looking from that opening would give one a view of the wooded bank that extends down toward the bridge near the summer boat launch.

One can begin to question the findings of a camera dependent investigation with the knowledge that a large percentage of the area lacked camera surveillance.  They could not of entered or exited over there cause we got no cameras over there.  This would require lab results capable of supporting evidence of a presence in the area. The large number of responding fire personnel likely left investigators to conclude the area was so compromised any objects discovered were brought onsite with fighting the fire.

For example: A glove finger with kitty hair would send law enforcement door to door looking for someone who owned a cat and matched the description of the person in the out of focus photograph.  The physical area must have objects that link camera findings to the area to carry any credible investigative weight.

Wisconsin House Checks sends an individual staff person to walk your property checking doors, windows, and out buildings in the occupants absence.  House Checks charges the property owner 20 dollars for each visit.  Staff look inside from the exterior whenever reasonably possible.  This is a human intervention to compliment your technological security.  Simply call 608-432-4286 and request a House Checks Service to get started.

Lake Delton Resort Dorm Fire - Wisconsin House Checks

In Lake Delton Wisconsin an employee housing being built burned to the ground in January.  This has been declared arson.  Participating investigators in cooperation with the Wilderness Resort have increased the reward to 20 thousand dollars hoping to involve more of the community.

House Checks staff have noted the height of the concrete walls that form the base of the building would of required a long reach to burnable material if this was ignited from the bottom and burned upward.  A bottom up fire ignited from the interior would of required access through a basement opening.  House Checks staff is talking with families who have fireplaces in their dwelling only to  hear how difficult it can be to get dry wood to sustain a burning state even with lighter fluid and log lighters.

House Checks sends an individual staff person to check your doors, windows, and outbuildings looking for things out of place- in the occupants absence.  The property owner is charged 20 dollars per visit which are performed during daylight hours.  Staff look inside from the exterior whenever reasonably possible. Lake Delton Fire 20k Reward Discarded Gloves - House Checks

Investigators working on the Lake Delton employee housing fire have increased the reward to twenty thousand dollars as a plea for the community to come and help.  The fire occurred in late January burning a partially constructed building to the ground.

House Checks staff on a walk around located this pair of discarded gloves.  Knowing the cold temperature in January it is likely the individuals involved in the burning of the structure wore gloves or mittens.  Investigators have concluded the cause of the fire was arson.

Wisconsin House Checks sends an individual staff person to walk your property checking doors, windows, and out buildings in the occupants absence.  The property owner is charged 20 dollars per visit which takes place during the daylight hours.  This is a human intervention to compliment your technological security.  Simply call 608-432-4286 and request a House Checks service to get started.

Wilderness Resort Fire 20k Reward - Wisconsin House Checks

With the January burning of the employee housing building in Lake Delton the reward has been increased to twenty thousand dollars as the act was declared arson.  Walking near the wooded bank the House Checks staff have been able to identify some objects of interest.

Fire Reward 20k - Wisconsin House Checks

In a plea for the help of the public those investigating the fire of the employee housing in the Wilderness Resort have increased the reward to twenty thousand dollars.

This photo was taken standing back by the summer boat ramp where the creek would have been froze over in January - the month of the fire.  Was there any community division related to the classification of the building among Village authorizing departments?  Can see the wooded bank to the left where gloves or mittens may have been dropped.  There is a light pole near the construction site.

Thinking internal security would already have reviewed records of access cards and the shuttle call log.  One of the photographs released depicts investigators sifting through ashes that rested upon the concrete floor of the interior post fire.  Interestingly there is no appearance of fire discoloration upon the concrete walls of the interior in that photo.

Wisconsin House Checks sends an individual staff person to walk your property checking doors, windows, and out buildings in the occupants absence.  Looking for things out of place - visits occur during the daytime hours.  The property owner is charged 20 dollars per visit.  This is a human intervention to compliment your technological security. Bells Apotropaic Power - Ovilus 5 Experience

Bells have a long history of being employed to avert an unseen presence from influencing physical activity to produce an undesired outcome.  Bells comfort and protect humans.  This magnificent set of bells required special waivers and permits to reside in such a tall structure.

The sound of the bells can be heard across the community.   The ancient sound produced by the bells has an eternal quality that can be felt through the human ear.  Death in a community can be accompanied by emotional imbalance which changes perceptions on an individual basis. The sound of the bells can break up the emotional disruption and move the population toward a more balanced alignment.

The sound of the bells can pull you from your thoughts to make you feel what is being communicated. This is a positive shift that can be processed as a lighter more unencumbered understanding of the way the sounds made one feel.  You the individual are made to feel less alone.

To hear the bells is to acknowledge the care the community has for each individual.  This is an audible form of sharing that lends strength to the depth of the fabric of the unseen network that supports another's eternal existence.

20k Reward Lake Delton Fire - Wisconsin House Checks

The investigators of the fire that occurred in Lake Delton Wisconsin continue to reach out for the help of the public by increasing the reward to 20 thousand dollars. In January a partially constructed building which was then to be designed for employee housing burned to the ground.

Wisconsin House Checks staff noted that in the month of January this geographical area is one of the most populated places in the greater Wisconsin Dells.  Federal investigators in cooperation with local law enforcement and on site security have determined the cause of the fire to be arson.

The picture shows the re-building of the employee housing in the same location of the fire.  This was taken on a residential road that over looks the property.

Wisconsin House Checks sends an individual staff person to walk your property checking doors, windows, and outbuildings in the occupants absence.  The property owner is charged 20.00 dollars per visit which occur during the daylight hours.  Staff look inside from the exterior when ever reasonably possible. Ghost Boat Spooky Trails - Cheesey Tomato Restaurant

The Ovilus 5 Experience technician learned that prior to moving in to this Lake Delton location the Cheesey Tomato Restaurant operated from the Ghost Boat annex in down town Wisconsin Dells.  Cheesey Tomato staff report watching the Ghost Boat tour depart from the patio but eerily- sometimes not seeing it return.

This photograph depicts some of the Cheesey Tomato staff taking the Ghost Boat tour.  The Ovilus 5 Experience technician noted that these haunted attractions can function as a gateway for ghostly apparitions seeking to get a message over to the human population.
