Wisconsin Dells Tourism Related Retailers

The Wisconsin Dells Visitor and Convention Bureau is a private non-profit organization that exists to market the Wisconsin Dells area to tourists.  Tourism related retailers submit money in the form of membership dues and the collected room tax is assigned partially to the Wisconsin Dells Visitor and Convention Bureau budget.

Membership in the Wisconsin Dells Visitor and Convention Bureau is voluntary.  The Wisconsin Dells Visitor and Convention Bureau occupies an office at 701 Superior Street, Wisconsin Dells, WI 53965.

The Wisconsin Dells Visitor and Convention Bureau maintains a contract that facilitates the publication of an annual vacation guide that includes distribution.  The vacation guides are free for people to grab, rest in a rack in varied locations, and are replenished as needed.

The Wisconsin Dells Visitor and Convention Bureau is a traditional modal that has been serving the Wisconsin Dells area's promotional needs for a good many years.  The assignment of room tax money to the budget is considered a testament to the Wisconsin Dells communities commitment to the tourism industry for far in to the future.

We Were In Wisconsin Dells And Saddened To See What Has Happened

A common message received by staff of Wisconsin Dells Conventions HUB is " we were in Wisconsin Dells and saddened to see what has happened".  Visitors returning to Wisconsin Dells after being gone for quite some time can be traumatized by the change.  Consider the following changes that contribute to over whelming visitors who return to Wisconsin Dells after quite some time away.

Landscape is more commercial than natural.  Business modals prefer to purchase undeveloped land surrounding the community for development - rather than available property within the existing commercial district.

Local population is now made up of individuals from around the globe.  More than 4500 work experience travelers come from outside of the Country to live in Wisconsin Dells and support tourism efforts.

Large resorts offer overnight space along the shoreline of Lake Delton requiring local limits that inhibit utilization.

Family hotel business modals are being shut down through local regulatory changes and a top down financial support of franchise hotel operators.

The Wisconsin Dells area has a much higher than normal business lease failure rate due to the high cost of having to import our labor from outside of the Country.  Operating business modals close permanently without a moments notice.

The number of work experience travelers who come from outside of the Country to live in new housing built with local public dollars more than doubles the posted population requiring more law enforcement officers.

Collected money through the premier resort tax must be redistributed to existing operators to keep them in business.  Upgrades to commercial property in the area are being financed by public money - traditional lending institutions deliver a very limited service within Wisconsin Dells.

The local population is further impoverished through the additional premier resort tax local business providers must charge consumers.

Commercial landlords struggle with restrictive local regulations that cause a barrier with the ongoing need to re-purpose vacant locations in an effort to place a new renter.

The visiting public is powerless to influence any of these changes because they are driven by local elected officials .  Some will choose to stop coming.

This is the Wisconsin Dells area today.  Some are suggesting the ongoing need to collect additional tax dollars to distribute back to operating business modals is an indication the local economy lacks the value needed to deliver evidence of any real growth.

Wisconsin Dells Understanding The Promotion Causes Visitation Formulary

The Wisconsin Dells area is placing a stronger focus on how efforts of promotion drive visitation.  Business operators can evaluate the visitation to their location in relation to the traditional organization that collects membership dues and receives some premier resort tax money to collectively pool resources and promote the Wisconsin Dells community.

The Wisconsin Dells area has a much higher than normal business lease failure rate due to the high cost of importing labor from outside of the Country.  This means the Wisconsin Dells area has fewer individual business operators performing financial transactions that contribute a portion to the premier resort tax fund.  Simply the traditional promotional organization is receiving less and less as their percent of the premier resort tax is shrinking - this is a funding loss.

The Village of Lake Delton is providing financial incentives ( up to 10k per room) for hotel franchise operators to locate in the Wisconsin Dells area.  Hotel franchise modals require a percent of the gross be contributed back to the corporate office for royalties and a percent of the gross goes back as an advertising mandate to promote the brand on the national level.  This is shifting local dollars that were once voluntarily contributed to the traditional promotional organization in to corporate franchise budgets to advertise their brand- this is a funding loss.

The Wisconsin Dells will benefit from a promotional approach that delivers digital content across varied networks.  This will engage a demographic with a higher per household level of disposable income.  Consistent delivery of data packets created in a timely fashion with location specific images enhances credibility which improves visitation.  This is innovation designed to reduce cost while producing a more beneficial outcome.  The Wisconsin Dells area has entered stage II of the convention hosting industry.

Wisconsin Dells Critical Lack Tilts Community Promotional Efforts

The critical lack in the Wisconsin Dells area is labor.  The Wisconsin Dells area must import their labor from outside of the Country through the Federal J1VISA Programming.  The high cost of importing labor from outside of the Country creates a much higher than normal business lease failure rate across the Wisconsin Dells area.

The higher than normal business lease failure rate means fewer business locations performing the financial transactions that contribute a portion to the Premier Resort Tax fund.  A lower collection of money for the Premier Resort Tax fund - means a smaller percentage of the total fund will be assigned to the local organization that pools resources to promote the whole Wisconsin Dells area.

The traditional Wisconsin Dells community wide promotional organization is receiving less money from their portion of the Premier Resort Tax fund. This is important because the traditional promotional organization has become more dependent upon the Premier Resort Tax fund with the Village of Lake Delton funding hotel conversions to franchise modals.

Franchise hotel operators must contribute a percentage of their gross to the corporate office as royalties and an advertising mandate.  The money that local hotel operators once sent to the traditional community wide promotional organization now goes over to the franchise chain budget - a loss for pooled local advertising efforts.

Wisconsin Dells business operators are feeling this change as a decreased visitation to their location.  Promotional efforts drive visitation.  Wisconsin Dells Conventions HUB staff are busy developing more innovative, cost effective, services local business modals can use to populate their location.  This will become essential with the changes across the Wisconsin Dells area that are making past applications much less effective.

Wisconsin Dells What Does Shifting Local Advertising Dollars Mean?

The Wisconsin Dells area is actively supporting a top down shift of local advertising dollars. Traditionally the Wisconsin Dells area business operators voluntarily contributed a percent of their net profit to a local promotional organization as membership dues.

The Village of Lake Delton finance committee is delivering 10 thousand dollars per room to local hotel operators who upgrade their lodging to a franchise modal.  Franchise modals require the local hotel operator to contribute a percent of their gross profit for royalties as well as an additional percent for an advertising mandate.  The advertising mandate is money sent to the corporate chain to nationally advertise the brand.

Local hotel operators who transition to a franchise now have an economic modal that shifts the money once voluntarily contributed to the Wisconsin Dells area promotional organization out and in to the corporate franchise budget.  This is de-funding the local promotional organization which pools resources and lessens the value of their advertising approaches.

This top down de-funding of the local promotional organization can be felt already by Wisconsin Dells area business operators in the form of a decrease in visitation to their location.  Wisconsin Dells Conventions HUB staff are busy developing cost effective options area business operators can employ to populate their location.

The Wisconsin Dells Conventions HUB staff are developing the promotional services that facilitate the ability of Wisconsin Dells business operators to move from sitting on the side lines to actively participating in the local changes in ways that deliver a profit for their hard work.  The Wisconsin Dells area has entered stage II of the convention hosting industry.

Do Not Leave Wisconsin Dells With Out ...

Do not leave Wisconsin Dells without driving the Wisconsin Dells Parkway to view the many statues that bring Greek Mythology alive.   Larger than life and placed up high are the many Greek figures perfect for road side viewing.  Day trippers are coming in to the Wisconsin Dells area just to see these magnificent sculptures of true road side art.

Reminiscent of the past when the winged griffin statues adorned the entrance to the Dell View Resort.  Recall viewing the huge dinosaurs of prehistoric land in the Enchanted Forest as families crossed the Wisconsin Dells bridge.

These larger than life Greek statues bring some of the magic back for visitors coming to Wisconsin Dells.  Scattered along the Wisconsin Dells Parkway and high in number the statues serve a function alerting Mount Olympus guests to the location of their over night lodging.

This larger than life representation of Greek Mythology is enjoyable for all ages.  Talk about free access to amusement quality fun - be sure to bring the whole family to see the new statues.

What Could Possibly Be New In Wisconsin Dells?

What is new in Wisconsin Dells begins with the huge convention center at the Kalahari Resort getting set to open.  The Village of Lake Delton contributed 10 million publicly collected dollars to construct this huge new space.  The convention center is expected to attract large crowds like the Wisconsin Dells area used to serve with the annual World Wide Church of God conventions in the 1970's.

This includes the Village of Lake Delton providing financial incentives for franchise hotel operators to locate in the Wisconsin Dells area.  The new Staybridge is open, the Wintergreen has upgraded to Clarion, and the La Quinta Del Sol franchise hotel is being constructed along the Wisconsin Dells parkway.  These hotel modals will assure the availability of rooms for over night stays with the huge crowds occupying the new convention center at the Kalahari Resort.

To staff the new convention center and the many franchise hotels the Village of Lake Delton is providing financial incentives to property owners who construct new housing for the J1VISA Program workers who come from outside of the Country to live in Wisconsin Dells and assist with tourism efforts.  The Wilderness Resort buildings are complete and occupied.  The Hiawatha buildings are complete and occupied.  The Lake Avenue buildings that will be home to 600 work experience travelers who come from outside of the Country through the J1VISA Programming are being constructed.  The Wisconsin Dells area is now home to more than 4500 work experience travelers who come from outside of the country to help with local tourism efforts.

To properly serve the huge new crowds gathering at the Kalahari Resort Convention Center and the additional work experience travelers coming from outside of the Country to live in the Wisconsin Dells area the Village of Lake Delton is constructing a large new Police Station.  This new Police Station is being built on Alcan and Miller which will be closer to the new convention center. The Village of Lake Delton has approved funding to replace Alcan drive which will prove beneficial as the Village Attorney, Clerk, and Engineer are working to have additional nearby lots vacated and combine the entire geographical area in to one parcel of land.  With the large new population occupying the convention center and the influx of more J1VISA Program work experience travelers the need for more public services like law enforcement is essential.

This is what is new in the Wisconsin Dells area.  These changes are being called stage II of the convention hosting industry.

Village of Lake Delton Construct New Police Station Building

The Village of Lake Delton has their Clerk, Attorney, and Engineer working to have additional nearby lots vacated to enable the combining of the geographical area in to one land parcel.  Pictured is the property along Miller and Alcan that will be the location of the new Police Station building.

This places the Lake Delton Police Station closer to the new Kalahari Resort convention center and near the Village of Lake Delton Fire Department building.  The new convention center at the Kalahari Resort is expected to attract a huge new population of shared customers in to the Wisconsin Dells area.

More people means a greater need for public services like the Lake Delton Police Department.  This includes the Areas need to attract more work experience travelers from outside of the Country through the J1VISA Programming to come live in Wisconsin Dells.  The Wisconsin Dells area is home to more than 4500 work experience travelers who come from outside of the Country to help support local tourism efforts.

New law enforcement hires are often surprised to learn the published population of about 5500 residents can be more than doubled with the work experience travelers who come from outside of the Country to live in the Wisconsin Dells area.  This makes it difficult for the Wisconsin Dells area to retain law enforcement officers.

The construction of a new law enforcement building and the plan to hire additional officers can be seen as a measure of economic growth.  The Wisconsin Dells area has entered stage II of the convention hosting industry.

Wisconsin Dells Changing Resources For Traditional Promotional Efforts

The Wisconsin Dells area is experiencing a much higher than normal business lease failure rate due to the high cost of importing labor from outside of the Country.   This means fewer business modals are contributing to the collective group pools resulting in a smaller community level tourism marketing budget.

This means less promotional resources are available at the community level.  This will contribute to lower visitation numbers.  With a smaller tourism marketing budget the Wisconsin Dells business operators are being challenged to participate in newer innovative promotional interventions.

Wisconsin Dells Conventions HUB is working with Infoteyes Advertising Promotions to develop online service modals designed to populate your location or event.  This involves threading commonalities for distribution on a scheduled frequency to assure the volume capable of multiple placements within search engines for a broader reach.

This is online promotional data packages distributed in real time.  Original content with non- enriched images communicate -you are there to the viewer.  This is a product designed to enhance business operator credibility as part of the delivery process.  This will be a cost effective way for a business operator to boost visitation to their location.

Watch as Wisconsin Dells Conventions HUB and Infoteyes Advertising Promotions begin to offer innovative promotional services for Wisconsin Dells Business Operators.   The Wisconsin Dells area has entered stage II of the convention hosting industry.

Wisconsin Dells What Is Business Diversification Dynamic

The Wisconsin Dells area has a much higher than normal business lease failure rate related to the high cost of importing labor from outside of the Country.  This creates an abundance of vacant store fronts across the Wisconsin Dells area.

Ambitious local business operators looking to assure greater longevity with their tourism related endeavors will occupy newly vacant store fronts implementing their idea for successfully serving more visitors.

This helps reduce the number of dark store fronts and adds another depository for revenue that includes a partial contribution to the premier resort tax fund.  This involves existing business operators working through local regulatory processes to implement their start up business modal.

Existing business operators working with local public service departments to implement their start up business modal are continuously identifying cumbersome non-productive local level policy that acts as a barrier to bringing in new business.  Entrepreneurs are working at the local level to reduce these barriers to bringing more business modals in to the Wisconsin Dells area.

Business operators working out of more than one location across the Wisconsin Dells area are very busy and will be looking to outsource some of their promotional tasks to balance their time.  Wisconsin Dells Conventions HUB and Infoteyes Advertising Promotions are developing online service modals designed to better assist this group of business operators.  Expect to see the packaging of promotional products designed to populate your business location at affordable - start up prices.

Wisconsin Dells Feels Supported With Stronger Visitation

Strong visitation continues in the Wisconsin Dells area.  This is valuable in that tourism is Wisconsin's third largest industry.   Wisconsin Dells accounts for about 10 percent of the total tourism spending across the State of Wisconsin.

The Wisconsin Dells area is consistently reinvesting to bring new experiences for visitors in the area.  This includes hefty investments of public dollars to assist local business modals to deliver the high level of service visiting tourists have come to enjoy.

Wisconsin Dells area operators repeatedly acquire more than one business modal - a diversification strategy to assure longevity with their tourism related endeavors.  This diversification activity reduces the number of dark store fronts - increasing the opportunity to contribute stronger returns to the premier resort tax fund.

Common space is pulling from historical information to embed communication designed to give visitors a broader sense of the Wisconsin Dells community.  Wisconsin Dells organizes events at the local level designed to produce an integrating quality that gives all a sense of belonging.  This is important because the Wisconsin Dells area is populated with individuals from across the globe.

The Wisconsin Dells area is committed to a future of serving the visiting tourist population.  Entrepreneurs are working within the community to reduce the cumbersome local regulations that act as a barrier to new business start ups.

The effort of the Wisconsin Dells community is to account for more than 10 percent of the total tourism spending across the State of Wisconsin - this means local growth by acquiring a larger share of the existing market.  The Wisconsin Dells area is now in stage II of the convention hosting industry.

Can Wisconsin Dells Influence Presidential Election Immigration Debate to save the local economy

Immigration will be a primary issue in the approaching Presidential Election.  Wisconsin Dells is a global community populated with more than 4500 work experience travelers who come from outside of the Country through the Federal J1VISA Immigration Program to support local tourism efforts.

Residents through local elected officials have assigned millions of publicly collected dollars to build new housing for this growing immigrating staff.  Local business modals have received millions of publicly collected dollars to construct investment grade improvements upon their land to provide tourism jobs that require more and more immigrating staff to come live in the Wisconsin Dells area.

The entire economy of the Wisconsin Dells area is dependent upon open immigration policy at the Federal, State, and local level.  Any change that makes it more difficult for individuals to come from outside of the Country to temporarily live in Wisconsin Dells will result in a local economic collapse.

Residents in the Wisconsin Dells area are beginning to understand there are more work experience travelers who come from outside of the Country to temporarily live in Wisconsin Dells than there are permanent residents.  This leaves the Wisconsin Dells area questioning how this small population of permanent residents could have any real impact upon the immigration issue in the approaching Presidential Election.

The critical lack is labor.  The Village of Lake Delton has given the Kalahari Resort 10 million publicly collected dollars to build a convention center ( 212 thousand square feet) capable of serving large regional- national groups.  This is a public - private partnership forged to create a physical location that will require more and more immigrating staff from outside of the Country to come live in new housing paid for by public collected dollars.

These long term hefty investments of public resources on short term business modals that depend upon staff immigrating from outside of the Country to function can call the elected officials ability to be a good steward of public resources in to question.  Expect to hear more about the immigration issue in the approaching Presidential Election.

Wisconsin Dells and Immigration as Major Presidential Election Issue

Immigration will be a major Presidential Election issue.  Wisconsin Dells area residents are beginning to question how the local economy fits in to the immigration issue.  The next Presidential Election will involve sweeping changes to immigration policy.

Changes to immigration policy has an immediate effect upon the economy of the Wisconsin Dells area. The critical lack in the Wisconsin Dells area is labor.  The Wisconsin Dells business modals are focused upon serving the tourist industry.  The Wisconsin Dells area has no where near the population to staff these tourism business modals.

The elected Wisconsin Dells officials have assigned millions of public dollars to support the continuation of open federal immigration policy.  Open immigration policy facilitates the ability of more than 4500 work experience travelers who come from outside of the Country to live temporarily in Wisconsin Dells and assist with tourism efforts.

The Wisconsin Dells area is a global community - populated with more than 4500 work experience travelers who come from outside of the Country to support local tourism efforts.  The Wisconsin Dells elected officials have assigned millions of dollars to build new housing for the immigrating work force.  The bulk of business modals in the Wisconsin Dells area would cease to operate without the continued immigration of more than 4500 work experience travelers annually.

Labor is so tight some resort modals must say no to the opportunity to earn tourist revenue due to the lack of staff.  You hear - as soon as she finishes folding towels down by the pool - we will have her come up and make you that custom cocktail you saw on our resort brochure.  Resort management is moving staff to populated areas on a moments notice in an attempt to retain some measure of quality to the advertised service.

The Wisconsin Dells economy is completely dependent upon open immigration policy at the federal level to stay solvent.  As we move closer to the Presidential Election expect to hear much more about the immigration issue.  The Wisconsin Dells area has entered stage II of the convention hosting industry.

Wisconsin Dells Voters Elect Pro- Immigration Leaders

The majority of the voting public in the Wisconsin Dells area continuously elects pro-immigration leaders.  This is evidenced by elected officials repeatedly assigning the bulk of scare Wisconsin Dells public resources to projects that produce:

- New housing for the Federal J1VISA Immigration Programming

- More jobs for the Federal J1VISA Immigration Programming population

Your vote for your local representative has consistently produced a greater dependence upon open federal immigration policy continuing to enable work experience travelers from outside of the Country come live in the Wisconsin Dells area to assist with tourism efforts.

In Wisconsin Dells this has created an economic area that must evaluate immigration policy as a piece of the process for lenders determining the cost of borrowing money, insurance providers determining the cost of premiums, and real estate professionals assessing the value of real property.  The ability of the Wisconsin Dells area to attract more than 4500 work experience travelers from outside of the Country annually is an important variable when calculating the financials for local transactions.

Any immigration policy change, alteration in local regulations, or resistance from the J1VISA Program participants creates an economic collapse - with the assured loss of millions of dollars of invested public money.

Wisconsin Dells J1VISA Dismissed From Work Early

The high temperatures and humidity create oppressive heat across the Wisconsin Dells area.  The intense heat pushes the Wisconsin Dells visitors away from the activity that results in more individual commercial transactions for business operators.  Nervous business operators immediately see their over head as walking on two feet and begin sending J1VISA Program workers home early.

The oppressive heat across the Wisconsin Dells area diminishes the number of visitors patronizing the business owners location - which means more J1VISA Program work experience travelers are being dismissed from their jobs early.

This pushes more J1VISA Program work experience travelers in to the public library where air conditioning and online access are available.  With the calculation of more than 4500 work experience travelers in the Wisconsin Dells area - this can put a strain on public services like the local library.

The intense heat came with a 10 day forecast - which can result in a lower pay check for J1VISA Program workers who are being sent home early.  This is further exacerbated by the much higher than normal cost of food and beverages in the Wisconsin Dells area related to the premier resort tax.  This creates a food scarcity dynamic across the population of J1VISA Program workers being sent home early.

This simply means that a convenience store clerk may ask a customer for a dollar to get something in their stomach.  The Wisconsin Dells area has entered stage II of the convention hosting industry.

Wisconsin Dells Extreme Heat Effects Commerce

High temperatures and humidity create oppressive heat across the Wisconsin Dells area.  This extreme heat contributes to a drop in individual financial transactions.  This dynamic occurs despite being in the peak of visitation season in the Wisconsin Dells area.

Younger and older family members do poorly with extreme heat.  This means outdoor non-water related business operations experience a dip in traffic.  Walking between retail and liquor with beverage providers is diminished.  Simply, the visitors tend to do less - and opt for comfort with the extreme heat.

This means individual business operators have fewer transactions which results in a decrease in the contribution to the premier resort tax fund.  This can be unnerving for business operators who see this as the best time of the year for receiving visitor revenue.

In down town Wisconsin Dells the public library is designated as a cooling center for visitors to seek respite from the intense heat.  The Wisconsin Dells Conventions HUB staff reminding readers that a safe vacation is a fun vacation.

Wisconsin Dells Convention Hosting Stage II - Moving Convention Center Dollars In To Community at Rapid Rate

The Village of Lake Delton has given the Kalahari Resort 10 million publicly collected dollars to build a convention center ( 212 thousand square feet) capable of serving large regional - national groups.  This is a public - private partnership forged to create a physical location designed to attract a huge new population of shared customers in to the Wisconsin Dells area.

This huge new population will be non-local and dependent upon area specific online sites that deliver a broad description of the benefits to visiting the Wisconsin Dells area.  Large indoor spaces for holding a convention are available every where - it will be the totality of the Wisconsin Dells area that secures stronger visitation and inspires the group to pick the new convention center as the place to hold their gathering.

Wisconsin Dells Conventions HUB staff are busy developing an online multi-sided economic platform - to specifically serve the Wisconsin Dells convention industry.  The online multi-sided economic platform will facilitate the opportunity for Wisconsin Dells area business modals to communicate directly with incoming convention center attendees.

Convention center attendees will be able to post their need for the business community to respond.  This initiative is to convert more undecided groups to choose the Wisconsin Dells area as their option for holding their convention.  This is presenting the Wisconsin Dells area resources that are available to the group seeking a venue - in real time.  The site will include the ability to perform financial transactions through proven online fiscal providers like paypal.  This is moving convention center dollars in to the local community at a more rapid rate.

Watch for this new online Wisconsin Dells Convention HUB Marketplace to become operational.  Staff are busy working with sharetribe to develop this multi-sided economic platform.  The Wisconsin Dells area has entered stage II of the convention hosting industry.

Wisconsin Dells Convention Hosting Stage II - Economic Indicator

The Village of Lake Delton has given the Kalahari Resort 10 million publicly collected dollars to build a convention center ( 212 thousand square feet) capable of serving large regional - national groups.  This is a public - private partnership forged to create a physical location designed to attract a huge new population of shared customers in to the Wisconsin Dells area.

The critical lack in the Wisconsin Dells area is labor.  The Wisconsin Dells area must import their labor from outside of the Country through the J1VISA Program.  In 2017 the published calculation of the number of individuals who came to live in Wisconsin Dells from outside of the Country through the J1VISA Program was more than 4500.  Today that number is much higher.

The business modals that operate in the Wisconsin Dells area need the J1VISA Program visitors to  staff their locations and serve the travelers.  The number of J1VISA Program visitors can be used to calculate the economic wellness of the Wisconsin Dells area.

When the number of work experience travelers coming from outside of the Country through the J1VISA Program to live in Wisconsin Dells is staying way above the 4500 calculation the local economy is doing well.  When the number of work experience travelers coming from outside of the Country through the J1VISA Program to live in Wisconsin Dells drops below the 4500 calculation the local economy is performing poorly.

This is correlated with utilization of the new housing being funded by the Village of Lake Delton for the J1VISA Program visiting population.  Simply knowing the number of available beds and how many are being occupied by the J1VISA Program visitors gives us a sense of the over all function of the local economy.

- Occupied J1VISA Beds means a well performing local economy

- Empty J1VISA Beds means a poor performing local economy

A poor performing local economy means significantly less contributions to the Premier Resort Tax fund.  The Wisconsin Dells area will need to attract a lot more individuals from outside of the Country through the J1VISA Program to staff the new convention center at the Kalahari Resort.  The Wisconsin Dells area has entered stage II of the convention hosting industry.

Wisconsin Dells Convention Hosting Stage II - Closing Road Only Way Development Goes Forward

One of the key ways to gain use of public road way land is to present it as an integral piece of a plan for a new development of an amusement in down town Wisconsin Dells.  This is a strategy to place an outdoor plaza upon a City street and accessorize the area with live entertainment through a public pay source.

The old building on Broadway acquires a new land lord with a vision that assures operation far in to the future.  The focus is a magical amusement to serve visiting tourists.  The evolving steam punk style will require the cooperation of the City Council who must close off Broadway and Elm Street to motor vehicle traffic.

The City of Wisconsin Dells carries a massive debt load - making the idea of a new good sized amusement in down town awful attractive.  The initial plan is drawn up - but the only way it can work is if the City Council shuts down Broadway and Elm Street to motor vehicle traffic.

This strategy ties the conveyance of the land in the roadway to a private corporation who in cooperation with a City Committee implements the outdoor plaza - along with the new magical amusement.  This is a private - public collaboration to present the blocking off of Broadway and Elm Street as an economic growth producing decision that will be in the best interest of all.

Watch to see if the City of Wisconsin Dells Council agrees to block off Broadway and Elm Street.  The Wisconsin Dells area has entered stage II of the convention hosting industry.

Wisconsin Dells Convention Hosting Stage II Network Efficiencies

The Village of Lake Delton has given the Kalahari Resort 10 million publicly collected dollars to build a convention center ( 212 thousand square feet) capable of serving large regional - national groups.  This is a public - private partnership forged to create a physical location designed to attract a huge new population of shared customers in to the Wisconsin Dells area.

A space of this size will require a network of local business operators linking service through online communication to effectively serve very large groups on a consistent schedule.  This is presenting the whole community as the benefit to the groups that choose the Wisconsin Dells option to hold their convention.

Wisconsin Dells Conventions HUB is developing an online multi-sided economic platform that communicates the varied services available throughout the Wisconsin Dells area.  This digital service extends the reach of the new Kalahari Resort Convention Center through a diverse package of online sites.   This expands opportunity for local participants operating business modals that meet the needs of incoming convention center attendees.

The Wisconsin Dells Conventions HUB online multi- sided economic platform creates opportunity for growth by facilitating the ability to connect, communicate, and transact in real time.  This affords utilization of efficiencies that deliver mutually beneficial exchanges - moving the frequency of trade forward through network to capture ever larger annual profits.

The Wisconsin Dells Conventions HUB online multi-sided economic platform delivers faster more frequent transactions with the new population attending the convention center at the Kalahari Resort.  The Wisconsin Dells area has entered stage II of the convention hosting industry.

Wisconsin Dells Convention Hosting Stage II - Short Staffed and Scared

The Village of Lake Delton has given the Kalahari Resort 10 million publicly collected dollars to build a convention center ( 212 thousand square feet) capable of serving large regional - national groups.  This is a public - private partnership forged to create a physical location designed to attract a huge new population of shared customers in to the Wisconsin Dells area.  The challenge will be finding the staff to work in this new convention center location.

The Wisconsin Dells area has a much higher than normal business lease failure rate.

-Question: what is contributing to the much higher than normal business lease failure rate across the Wisconsin Dells area?

-Response: the high cost of having to import our labor from outside of the Country through the J1VISA Program.

-Question: why would the much higher than normal business lease failure rate across the Wisconsin Dells area matter to the visitors?

-Response: because the business they have scheduled to visit on their stay in the Wisconsin Dells area may no longer be operating

-Question: could the people visiting just ask a convenience store clerk or some hotel staff about the Wisconsin Dells area?

- Response: the staff come from outside of the Country through the J1VISA Program and are only in the Wisconsin Dells area for about 90 days- meaning the staff lack local knowledge due to their short stay in the Wisconsin Dells area.

-Question: How many individual workers does Wisconsin Dells need to attract from outside of the Country through the J1VISA Program to operate their local business modals?

- Response: in 2017 the published calculation indicates more than 4500 individuals came from outside of the Country through the J1VISA Program to live in Wisconsin Dells and help with tourism efforts.  That calculation is much higher today.

So the economic function of the Wisconsin Dells area is completely dependent upon the Federal J1VISA Programming.  Any changes at the Federal, State, or local level regarding immigration policy communicates fear across the lending institutions, insurance providers, and government service administration participating in the Wisconsin Dells area economy.  The Wisconsin Dells area can be described as short staffed and scared.  The Wisconsin Dells area has entered stage II of the convention hosting industry.

Swim Buoys Make Lake Delton Look Narrower and More Dangerous

The Board for the Village of Lake Delton has been notified of boating safety concerns with a rental jet ski crashing in to a boat parked upon a lift.  Lake Delton has a high volume of traffic in the peak summer season.  Most of the large resorts have over night space for rent along the shoreline of Lake Delton as an option for their visiting guests.

The military ducks, the water ski show, and rented water craft can fill the surface of Lake Delton rather quickly during the peak summer period.  The Village of Lake Delton Board went on record saying they oppose the use of swim buoys because they make Lake Delton look much narrower and more dangerous.  Lake Delton has a rule that water craft must be operated 200 feet from shore - but that leaves more Lake surface off limits than on.

Wisconsin Dells Conventions HUB is involved in a Place Making advertising campaign that reduces congestion on Lake Delton during the summer months by encouraging guests of the Kalahari Resort staying in rooms along the shoreline buildings to visit historic down town Baraboo.  This effort reduces the size of the population using the surface of Lake Delton - while introducing a whole new population to how Sauk County residents live, work, play, and operate profitable business modals in down town Baraboo.

Wisconsin Dells Conventions HUB is participating in a community building activity that also reduces congestion on the surface of Lake Delton during the summer months.   The Wisconsin Dells area has entered stage II of the convention hosting industry.

Wisconsin Dells Conventions HUB Promotes Historic Down Town Baraboo

Wisconsin Dells Conventions HUB is an independent organization that has contracted with Infoteyes Advertising  Promotions who is using the copyright Place Making Process - Connecting Commercial Clusters to populate Historic Down Town Baraboo.

This involves inviting the huge new population of shared customers expected to visit the convention center at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells to visit historic down town Baraboo.

Wisconsin Dells Block Broadway and Elm Outdoor Plaza for Global Population

On Thursday July 11, 2019 the City of Wisconsin Dells Council is expected to approve the closing of Broadway and Elm street to vehicle traffic.  The street from Broadway back to the Alley near Chalet Lanes will be closed and the area will be called a plaza for this global community to gather.

Historically the entertainment scheduled at the plaza has been free for all who attend.  The pay source for the entertainment is not well defined.  This is designed to be a shared space where the members of this global community can interact and enjoy memorable experiences.

The Wisconsin Dells area is home to more than 4500 work experience travelers who come from outside of the Country through the J1VISA Program to help with local tourism efforts.  The Village of Lake Delton has invested millions of dollars on new housing for the visiting J1VISA Program population.

The idea of a plaza with free entertainment creates a space where tourists, J1VISA Program work experience travelers, and residence can meet and share an enjoyable time together.  This is gathering the global community to share time in a festival like atmosphere that leaves participants with a greater sense of belonging.

The plaza is a place of celebration that will facilitate greater recognition of the Wisconsin Dells area being populated with individuals that come from all parts of the globe to help with the local tourism efforts.  This delivers an integrating quality designed to foster an enhanced sense of being part of the community and instill the desire to return for more visits.

With the new convention center getting ready at the Kalahari Resort the Wisconsin Dells area needs to attract many more individuals from outside of the Country through the J1VISA Program to come live in Wisconsin Dells.  The Wisconsin Dells area has entered stage II of the convention hosting industry.

Wisconsin Dells Convention Hosting Stage II - Less Parking Meter Money

The ongoing road construction project in down town Wisconsin Dells has effectively disrupted consumer access to the metered parking stalls.  Some areas are seeing zero parking meter revenue this summer of 2019 in down town Wisconsin Dells.

This means the parking meters annual revenue calculation will decrease. Recall the time period the parking meters would be checked has been lengthened and the rates have increased.  This was to offset the extra expense associated with the installation of the kiosks and the additional monitoring staff and equipment.

The parking lot behind the municipal building will be paved and metered with this summers construction project.  This is expected to capture additional revenue to help offset the summer of 2019 loss related to the road construction which made it impossible for tourists to utilize many of the once metered parking stalls.

The City of Wisconsin Dells carries a high debt load which makes the idea of a longer period for active parking meters with higher rates seem all the more attractive.  Many of the compact only car parking spaces have been cumbersome for staff who question how to appropriately deal with a vehicle too long - large for the space that is already parked and the occupants are up river on a tour boat.

Despite the over crowded streets in down town Wisconsin Dells the City committee's are planning to block off Elm Street at Broadway for an out door plaza.   This would prevent vehicle traffic on Broadway and Elm near the Chalet Bowling Lanes.

Expect the decrease in annual parking meter revenue to contribute to a reaction that involves the need for higher contributions to the City for services with community festivals.  The Wisconsin Dells area has entered stage II of the convention hosting industry.

Wisconsin Dells Convention Hosting Stage II - High End Premier Resort Tax

The Wisconsin Dells area collects the premier resort tax at the higher end of the State of Wisconsin allowable rate.   The premier resort tax in the Wisconsin Dells area is 1.25 percent.  This calculates to 6.75 percent on sales of objects and 12.25 percent on lodging.

The Wisconsin Dells area has the greatest dependence upon the premier resort tax in the State of Wisconsin.  This is evidenced by the need to collect at the higher 1.25 percent rate.  This can then be compared to the existing infrastructure to measure the over all wellness of the economics of the Wisconsin Dells community.

State regulations assign the utilization of the collected premier resort tax money to be invested in the Wisconsin Dells area infrastructure.  This is roadways and equipment used to maintain the streets.  This is designed to offset the local residents expense of maintaining roadways that are heavily used by drivers from outside of the community.

Newer - well kept roadways will indicate the local economics is prosperous - we are collecting enough through the premier resort tax to keep our roadways in tip top shape.   But older- and some what unkept roadways can be an indication that we are not collecting enough through the premier resort tax to keep up with the needs of the roadways.

If we are not collecting enough through the premier resort tax to fund the upkeep needed for our roadways - this is an indication that the local economy is performing badly.  When motoring through the Wisconsin Dells area remember to get a sense of how you believe the roadways are looking.  If the roads appear rough it is an indication that the local economy is performing badly - especially considering the Wisconsin Dells area is collecting the premier resort tax at the higher end of the State of Wisconsin allowable rate.

Wisconsin Dells Tourism Industry Enters Peak Season

The Wisconsin Dells area has entered peak season for the tourism industry.  Wisconsin Dells Conventions HUB Staff explain this is what the Wisconsin Dells area has been planning for all year long.  Visitation  spikes from now until the end of August.

This triggers more outdoor dining, greater utilization of fresh water resources, more live entertainment, and more fun at the outdoor water parks.  This is the period of time the highest number of work experience travelers coming from outside the Country through the J1VISA Program live in Wisconsin Dells.  In 2017 more than 4500 work experience travelers coming in from outside of the Country through the J1VISA Program lived in Wisconsin Dells - that number is much higher today.

The military ducks, large tour boats, and faster air boats trek groups up the mighty Wisconsin River to observe the stunning rock formations and precious shore side foliage.  Ziplines whiz passengers rapidly across unique geographical areas giving participants a new perception of the Wisconsin Dells area.

On the Wisconsin Dells Parkway the Grateful Shed Truck Yard is a new attraction that delivers a fun dining experience with a full bar and multiple food truck style kitchens producing healthy meals with a broad array of options sure to satisfy the whole family.  During peak season the parties can run late in to the night.

On some roadways across the Wisconsin Dells area the speed limits are lowered to promote safer travel.  Visitors can expect to see more bikes, scooters, golf - utility carts, and walkers on roadways in the Wisconsin Dells area during the peak season.

The staff of Wisconsin Dells Conventions HUB would like to take this opportunity to wish all a fun and safe summer season.  The Wisconsin Dells area has entered stage II of the convention hosting industry.

Wisconsin Dells Convention Hosting Stage II - Public Private Partnership

The Village of Lake Delton has given the Kalahari Resort 10 million publicly collected dollars to build a convention center ( 212 thousand square feet) capable of serving large regional - national groups.  This is a public - private partnership forged to create a physical location designed to attract a huge new population of shared customers in to the Wisconsin Dells area.

The new convention center is expected to become operational in the 4th quarter of 2019.  A key piece will be the staffing.  The Wisconsin Dells area lacks the local population to staff these tourism business modals.  The Wisconsin Dells area must import their labor from outside of the Country through the J1VISA Program.

The high cost of importing labor from outside of the Country through the J1VISA Program contributes to a much higher than normal business lease failure rate across the Wisconsin Dells area.  This has created a much lower density of individual business operators.  Said another way - one operator typically occupies multiple business locations in the Wisconsin Dells area.

Now that one business operator is occupying multiple business locations across the Wisconsin Dells area - when the off season starts , some of the business locations are closed down.  This is a pragmatic approach to saving resources.  The business operator may operate 4 locations in the summer season, and then close three locations in the off season - and operate just the one business location for the majority of the year.

The visitors can benefit from online sites like Wisconsin Dells Conventions HUB who publish information on the availability of local business modals throughout the year.  Nothing worse than scheduling a visit to a business modal only to find the location is closed.  The Wisconsin Dells area has entered stage II of the convention hosting industry.

Wisconsin Dells Severe Drop Individual Biz Operator Density

The Wisconsin Dells area is experiencing a severe drop in the individual business operator density.  This occurs as a later stage in a declining economic environment.

The increase cost of importing labor from outside of the Country through the J1VISA Program - contributes to a much higher than normal business lease failure rate across the Wisconsin Dells area.

This creates a much lower density of individual business operators.  Said another way - one operator typically occupies multiple business locations in the Wisconsin Dells area.  Consider the following :

In the off season Mac's Restaurant and Famous Dave's Restaurant close their down town Wisconsin Dells locations - but leave their Lake Delton locations open year round.  Now - rather than four business locations performing financial transactions which result in a contribution to the resort tax fund - we only have two.

The lower density of individual business operators is correlated to a drop in annual Wisconsin Dells area resort tax contributions.  The Wisconsin Dells area has entered stage II of the convention hosting industry.

New Plaza Service Clubs Will Sell Beer and Wine in Wisconsin Dells

On Thursday July 11, 2019 the Wisconsin Dells Council is expected to approve the closing off of Elm Street and Broadway back to the alley for an outdoor plaza.  This will move the Plaza from the Trumble Lot on Cedar and Broadway down to block off motor vehicle traffic on Elm Street.

To populate the new plaza site and demonstrate evidence of greater utilization - the committee will place service clubs who can sell beer, wine, and healthy dishes to the visiting public.  This is about delivering more options to the visiting consumers.

The availability of beer, wine and food will strengthen visitation while adding to the over all experience for those frequenting the new plaza in down town Wisconsin Dells. Expect to see service clubs actively selling beer, wine and food within the new plaza site on Elm Street in Down Town Wisconsin Dells.

The selling of beer, wine, and food will amplify repeat visitation - stronger frequency means more activity and boosts local commerce.  The Wisconsin Dells area has entered stage II of the convention hosting industry.

Wisconsin Dells Convention Hosting Stage II - How To Staff Convention Center

The Village of Lake Delton has given the Kalahari Resort 10 million publicly collected dollars to build a convention center ( 212 thousand square feet) capable of serving large regional - national groups.  This is a public - private partnership forged to create a physical location designed to attract a huge new population of shared customers in to the Wisconsin Dells area.  The Wisconsin Dells area lacks the local population to staff these tourism business modals.

The City of Wisconsin Dells and Village of Lake Delton elected officials employ a combined focus to assign the bulk of the areas public resources to the task of importing labor from outside of the Country through the J1VISA Program.  2017 calculations indicated more than 4500 work experience travelers came through the J1VISA Program to live in Wisconsin Dells.  That calculation is much higher today.

The critical lack in Wisconsin Dells is labor.  The new convention center is expected to become operational in the 4th quarter of 2019.  The ability of the convention center to function at the higher end of occupancy is completely dependent upon the Wisconsin Dells site's capability to enroll larger numbers of work experience travelers from outside the Country through the J1VISA Program.

The lending institutions, the insurance providers, and the City and Village administration understand the key to maintaining economic solvency is producing a Wisconsin Dells destination site that enrolls ever larger numbers of work experience travelers from outside of the Country through the J1VISA Program.  Any change to the immigration policies at the Local, State, or Federal level means financial loss and possible ruin for the existing tourism modals.

The Wisconsin Dells area needs to receive more work experience travelers through the J1VISA Program to staff the large new convention center being constructed at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells.  The Wisconsin Dells area has entered stage II of the convention hosting industry.

Officials To Close Broadway and Elm Wisconsin Dells Plaza J1VISA Integration

On Thursday July 11, 2019 City of Wisconsin Dells officials will meet and are expected to close down Broadway and Elm Street in down town.  The City of Wisconsin Dells and Village of Lake Delton elected officials employ a combined focus to assign the bulk of the areas public resources to the task of importing labor from outside of the Country through the J1VISA Program.

The persistent effort to place a plaza on Broadway in down town Wisconsin Dells is related to community integration and the J1VISA Program population.  The critical lack in the Wisconsin Dells area is labor.  The Wisconsin Dells area must attract more than 4500 work experience travelers from outside of the Country through the J1VISA Program every year.

The Village of Lake Delton has assigned millions of dollars for new housing for the J1VISA Program population.  The effort to construct a plaza in down town Wisconsin Dells and host nightly free entertainment is to improve the Wisconsin Dells area J1VISA Program Site enrollment.

This plaza is listed as a benefit to work experience travelers who enroll to come to the Wisconsin Dells area through the J1VISA Program.  This is free nightly entertainment designed to enable the J1VISA Program population, the local residents, and area visitors to engage in a community event that creates a greater sense of belonging.

This is an avenue toward recognizing the Wisconsin Dells area is now a global community and our daily interactions change the customs and culture to reflect the present day of the tourism industry.  This works to facilitate the experiences the J1VISA Program population will bring back to their home and encourage others to come support tourism efforts in Wisconsin Dells.  The Wisconsin Dells area has entered stage II of the convention hosting industry.

Wisconsin Dells Convention Hosting Stage II - J1VISA and Park and Rec

The Village of Lake Delton has given the Kalahari Resort 10 million publicly collected dollars to build a convention center ( 212 thousand square feet) capable of serving large regional - national groups.  This is a public - private partnership forged to create a physical location designed to attract a huge new population of shared customers in to the Wisconsin Dells area.

The Wisconsin Dells area lacks the local population to staff these tourism business modals.  The City of Wisconsin Dells and the Village of Lake Delton elected officials employ a combined focus to assign the bulk of the areas public resources to the task of importing labor from outside of the Country through the J1VISA Program.

Expect the local Park and Rec Department to become more and more involved in scheduled events that deliver a desirable structure to the J1VISA work experience travelers stay in the Wisconsin Dells area.  This is necessary to bolster the Wisconsin Dells area's ability to compete for the available work experience travelers seeking a J1VISA placement.

The Wisconsin Dells area requires more than 4500 work experience travelers from outside of the Country through the J1VISA Program every year.  The local Park and Rec staff and geographical locations will be utilized as a way to add value to the J1VISA work experience travelers stay in Wisconsin Dells.

The Park and Rec activities will give the J1VISA work experience travelers a greater participatory role in the Wisconsin Dells community.   This integrating strategy strengthens the J1VISA work experience travelers sense of belonging which is shared with friends upon return home.  The Wisconsin Dells area has entered stage II of the convention hosting industry.

Wisconsin Dells Convention Hosting Stage II - High Biz Lease Failure Rate

The Village of Lake Delton has given the Kalahari Resort 10 million publicly collected dollars to build a convention center ( 212 thousand square feet) capable of serving large regional - national groups.  This is a public - private partnership forged to create a physical location designed to attract a huge new population of shared customers in to the Wisconsin Dells area.

The Wisconsin Dells area lacks the local population to staff these tourism business modals.  The Wisconsin Dells area must import their labor from outside of the Country through the J1VISA Program.  The Wisconsin Dells area must place more than 4500 work experience travelers every year to staff the business modals.

The high cost of importing labor from outside of the Country through the J1VISA Program contributes to the Wisconsin Dells area's much higher than normal business lease failure rate.  It simply costs much more money to operate a business in the Wisconsin Dells area.

This creates a dynamic where the advertised business the tourist has scheduled to visit may no longer be operational.  Tourism online sites like Wisconsin Dells Conventions HUB use non- enriched , timely images of the area business modals to assist the public with determining the operating status of the business location.  This is a value added approach to distributing information about the Wisconsin Dells area.

The critical lack in the Wisconsin Dells area is labor.  The City of Wisconsin Dells and Village of Lake Delton elected officials employ a combined focus to assign the bulk of the areas public resources to the task of importing labor from outside of the Country through the J1VISA Program.  The Wisconsin Dells area has entered stage II of the convention hosting industry.

Seeing J1VISA Population As Community Members In Wisconsin Dells

All community planning in the Wisconsin Dells area must involve the J1VISA Population.  The J1VISA Population is made up of individual work experience travelers who come from outside of the Country to support tourism efforts in the Wisconsin Dells area.

This huge population meets a critical community lack.  The Wisconsin Dells area lacks the labor to staff these local tourism business operations. Reported 2017 calculations indicated more than 4500 work experience travelers came to live in the Wisconsin Dells area.  That number is much higher today.

The bulk of the Wisconsin Dells communities public resources are being invested to support the continued visitation by high numbers of work experience travelers coming from outside of the Country through the J1VISA Program.  It would be practical to facilitate a seat of representation on the local government board for a visiting J1VISA community member.

The seat of representation would provide pragmatic advice on what activity being performed in the Wisconsin Dells area on behalf of the huge J1VISA Population is working.  Simply, does the J1VISA Population perceive the investment of public resources as something being done to them - or with them.

This embeds a measure of fiscal conservancy to the intended outcome which is to increase the number of visiting work experience travelers living in the Wisconsin Dells area.  Are the public resources being invested on the J1VISA Populations behalf - actually beneficial and expected to attract ever higher numbers of work experience travelers in to the area.

When you come to the realization that the J1VISA Population coming to live in the Wisconsin Dells area - outnumbers the local residents - it seems practical to seek their input.  The Wisconsin Dells area has entered stage II of the convention hosting industry.
