Wisconsin Dells Golden Living Center Has A New Name

The familiar Wisconsin Dells Skilled Nursing Golden Living Center has changed their name.  The new name is Wisconsin Dells Health Services.  Wisconsin Dells Health Services provides medical care in an inpatient setting. 

Skilled medical care means Wisconsin Dells Health Services have been certified to receive reimbursement through Medicare and Medicaid.  Skilled medical services include nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and respiratory therapy.  Ongoing assessments with a medical doctor orders include the process for Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement.

Individuals discharged from Wisconsin Dells Health Services because they do not meet the level of care can go home feeling like they still need some help.  Care coordinators describe this transition from skilled medical care to non-medical supportive services.
