Wisconsin Drug Screening Businesses AB 385 Opioid Epidemic

Wisconsin Law Makers have begun working with Assembly Bill 385 which implements a drug screening requirement for Wisconsin Businesses using economic development aid- public money.  Wisconsin Businesses that have received Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation distribution of public money in the form of a loan, tax credit, or grant would need to be drug tested.

This is part of Wisconsin's broad range proposal to drug test more citizens as a way to accurately document the opioid epidemic.  This is recording a data base that can be used to bolster the calculations with future Federal waiver documents designed to increase Federal funding for Wisconsin.

Wisconsin has become a boon for franchises that perform drug testing.  The current Wisconsin Administration has expanded drug testing by mandating the act as a requirement of benefiting from  publicly collected money.

This is positioning the State of Wisconsin to improve Federal reimbursement and reduce Federal reach back of annual money received.  The opioid epidemic has reached intolerable levels and States like Wisconsin do not have the reserve funds or programming to efficiently and effectively  respond.

Home Care Path has implemented special training with the focus on preventing accidental exposure to illegal opioid products.  Accidental exposure by touching a scant amount of the powder to the skin can reduce respirations and the risk is death.
