Wisconsin Dells Convention Hosting Stage II Law Enforcement

The Village of Lake Delton has given the Kalahari Resort 10 million publicly collected dollars to build a convention center ( 212 thousand square feet) capable of serving large regional - national groups.  The convention facility is expected to attract large new populations of visitors to the Wisconsin Dells area.  A larger population of visitors means a greater need for law enforcement.

Law enforcement collaboration is central to the effort of the Wisconsin Dells area community to schedule large groups for an event.   Think of the annual automation which is a successful event that is served by the coordination of additional law enforcement staff and resources.  The interface with the public law enforcement service lists as a trade line on the event invoice that will be submitted to the convention organizer for payment.

The Village of Lake Delton is likely to construct a building for local law enforcement on the Alcan Drive - Miller Drive property that has been marked for development.   This places law enforcement staff and resources closer to the large Kalahari Resort Convention Center being constructed.

As the convention facility becomes operational the community can expect to see a larger law enforcement presence.  The Wisconsin Dells area has entered stage II of the convention hosting industry.
