The Village of Lake Delton has given the Kalahari Resort 10 million publicly collected dollars to build a convention center ( 212 thousand square feet) capable of serving large regional - national groups. The hope is to draw a whole new population in to the Wisconsin Dells area.
Two Facebook pages with free access are being developed to assist the convention organizer with the information necessary to craft a presentation for a group considering the Wisconsin Dells area as an option to schedule their venue.

These are area specific convention industry sites designed to communicate with non-local convention organizers seeking new locations for events. The Kalahari Resort Convention Center is expected to be operational within the last quarter of 2019. After the convention facility has been scheduled for a national trade event - expect to see the location listed on the distributed Trade Magazines Calendar.
This listing on the Trade Magazine Calendar alerts industry participants to begin to make plans to attend the event. This gives those scheduled to attend a convention in the Wisconsin Dells time to view the digital online sites being crafted to improve their stay in the area.
The Wisconsin Dells area has entered stage II of the convention hosting industry. Once operational expect to see this large new convention facility listed as a location in distributed Trade Magazine Calendars.
