The Village of Lake Delton has given the Kalahari Resort 10 million publicly collected dollars to build a convention center ( 212 thousand square feet) capable of serving large regional - national groups. The convention center is expected to become operational in the last quarter of 2019.
The Kalahari Resort and Convention Center is on 1305 Kalahari Drive, Wisconsin Dells, WI 53965. The Kalahari Resort and Convention Center rests on a parcel of land between a residential area and the interstate. Amusements are contained indoors on the resort property which helps reduce noise heard across the residential neighborhood. The Kalahari Resort and Convention Center is visible from passing motorists traveling the interstate.

To earn a return on the hefty investment the Village of Lake Delton will need the help of private providers who establish services to support the effort.
Wisconsin Dells Conventions HUB Stage II is a digital application designed to deliver the information a convention organizer needs to properly align a group with the area venue. Expect to see additional digital services emerging as Wisconsin Dells steps in to Stage II of the convention hosting industry.
