Wisconsin Dells Convention Hosting Stage II - Local Travel Information

The Village of Lake Delton has given the Kalahari Resort 10 million publicly collected dollars to build a convention center ( 212 thousand square feet) capable of serving large regional - national groups.  The Wisconsin Dells area is completely dependent upon the people who come from outside of the Country through the J1VISA Program to staff the various business modals.

The typical stay for a person coming to work in the Wisconsin Dells through the J1VISA Program is about 90 days.  The individuals receive 90 days for work and 30 days for travel.  This simply means the average staff person working in a Wisconsin Dells business modal has been in the area 90 days or less.

This leaves the visiting tourist population looking for an accurate source of local travel information.  In the past the visitors would ask staff in local business modals questions about the area - but todays Wisconsin Dells staff do not have the time in the area to learn about the Wisconsin Dells.

With the bulk of Wisconsin Dells business modals being staffed by a huge population of work experience travelers coming through the J1VSA Program - online resources like The Wisconsin Dells Conventions HUB are necessary to meet a real need.

The staff of Wisconsin Dells Conventions HUB believe it is beneficial for the visiting population to understand how the increased dependence upon staffing through the J1VISA Program creates this need for the service being delivered by Wisconsin Dells Conventions HUB.  The Wisconsin Dells area has entered stage II of the convention hosting industry.
