The 2015 budget authorizes the inclusion of Health Care Services in the new Family Care Program. This strategy is to streamline delivery as a way to improve outcomes. The adding of health care services and maintaining of personal supportive care will require an adjustment of the assessment process.

Home Care Path is working to develop the service needed to perform the independent personal care assessment listed on the State of Wisconsin 2015 budget. We are planning to take a proactive role in this Family Care upgrade. This service would bridge the regulatory gap between the authorizing insurance plan and the personal care provider.
