The Wisconsin Dells area is home to more than 4500 work experience travelers who come from outside of the Country to temporarily live and support tourism efforts. The calculation of visiting workers exceeds the local population making the J1VISA the largest group of share holders.
The Village of Lake Delton is investing millions of publicly collected dollars to build new housing for the largest group of share holders the J1VISA work experience travelers. Pictured is the new housing and convenience store going up on Lake Avenue for the immigrating J1VISA population. This Lake Avenue new housing creates a temporary home for about 600 work experience travelers.
Residents are suggesting their needs to be a position on the City and Village Boards for an individual who immigrates through the Federal J1VISA Programming and can advise on the value of all the new construction and services -millions of dollars are being invested. Simply, does this huge population of share holders see this as the right action to support their work stay in the Wisconsin Dells global community.
With the immigrating J1VISA being the largest share holder population in the Wisconsin Dells area economy - it seems a responsible thing to do is seek their input.
