The Wisconsin Dells area has three large projects actively competing for scarce community resources. The 3 projects are:
- Elm Street Outdoor Plaza
- Lake Delton Law Enforcement Building Alcan and Miller
- High School Along Rocky Arbor State Park
As the old high school building becomes empty for summer recess the Wisconsin Dells school system will be scrambling to engage the labor needed to transport furnishings to the new high school location along Rocky Arbor State Park.
The effort to construct and open the new Wisconsin Dells high school along Rocky Arbor State Park is actively competing with the committee members participating in the Elm Street Outdoor Plaza and Lake Delton Law Enforcement Building Alcan and Miller projects for scarce public money.
This simply means that as one project committee asks for more public resources the other two Wisconsin Dells area projects must be agreeable to take less. The committee participants on each of the 3 projects will be expected to share scarce community resources in a manner that will bring some form of completion to each of the Wisconsin Dells area projects.
