Wisconsin Dells Area Fund Raisers Question Where Are Consumers Spending

With the foot traffic in Down Town Wisconsin Dells dropping off significantly - area fund raisers are questioning where consumers are spending money.  Most of the business locations in Down Town Wisconsin Dells have closed for the off season.  The complete drop in direct consumer interactions makes Down Town Wisconsin Dells a less likely target for organized fund raising efforts.

The Wisconsin Dells area has three large projects that are competing with each other for scarce community resources.  The 3 projects are:

- Elm Street Outdoor Plaza

- Lake Delton Law Enforcement Building Alcan and Miller

- High School Along Rocky Arbor State Park

These three projects depend upon scarce public resources to complete- and can be expected to be accompanied by ongoing fund raising efforts.  Vacationing families coming into the Wisconsin Dells area can expect to be asked to contribute - as part of their stay.

Fund raising events in the off season in the Wisconsin Dells area have become an accepted way to populate a business location and create revenue for the operator.  Wisconsin Dells business locations profit from occupying available space with fund raising events.

Wisconsin Dells area fund raisers are looking to determine where clusters of commerce can boost monetary intake.   Continuous fund raising is an accepted activity in the Wisconsin Dells area and the year round resorts deliver the target population.
