Wisconsin DMS Division of Medicaid Services New Home of Medicaid Fund

The Wisconsin (DHS) Department of Health Services as authorized in the 2015- 17 Budget has created the Division of Medicaid Services.  The Department of Health Services has established an Executive Steering Committee to lead the re-organization.

This effort is to stretch existing resources by eliminating duplication - and streamline administration to put more money in to care.   All programs and functions of the Division of Long Term Care will move to (DMS) the Division of Medicaid Services.

This can be described as early phase implementation of the changes taking place with Family Care, IRIS, and the Wisconsin Partnership Programming.
