20k Reward Lake Delton Fire Chimney Flue - Wisconsin House Checks

The investigators working on the Lake Delton employee housing fire have increased the reward to 20K hoping more of the community will get involved.  Wisconsin House Checks staff walked about the area noting this to be one of the most populated parts of the greater Wisconsin Dells in January.

This picture shows where the edge of the building faces in to the Wilderness Resort activity.  The tall concrete walls seemed to function as a chimney flue pushing the fire produced smoke upward.  Initial media reporting indicate the responding fire departments immediately implemented containment to prevent the large burn from taking residence in the surrounding buildings.

Media reports identify 4am as the approximate time of discovery of the fire.  Viewing some of the photographs of the building engulfed in flames that seem to reach far in to the night sky - leaves Wisconsin House Checks staff questioning the issue of origination.  How many separate spots were ignited as origination.

Wisconsin House Checks sends an individual staff person to walk your property checking doors, windows and out buildings looking for things out of place in the occupants absence. The property owner is charged 20 dollars per visit.  The visits are conducted during day light hours.  Staff look inside from the exterior when ever reasonably possible. This is a human intervention to compliment your technological security. Simply call 608-432-4286 and request a House Checks service to get started.
