Simply, a mental health professional contracted to provide service in the State of Wisconsin to medical assistance beneficiaries can receive payment for services conducted across electronic lines.
Tele-visits are achieving parity - being considered equal in status and with levels of reimbursement. Could Wisconsin choose to contract with tele-assessment providers who would be reimbursed for electronic visits that complete independent personal care assessments?
