Can Lake Delton Finance Committee Adapt A More Diverse Distribution Process For Monetary Incentives

The business community is questioning why the Lake Delton Finance Committee cannot adapt a more diverse distribution process for monetary incentives.  The Village of Lake Delton Finance Committee gave the Kalahari Resort 10 million publicly collected dollars.

The business community is questioning why a sum this large could not be distributed among multiple operators - delivering a broader benefit across the Wisconsin Dells area.  Suggestions include assisting the business operators with the necessary documentation and providing 20 locations with 500 thousand dollars each.

The more diverse distribution of this public money would incentivize the construction renewal needed to upgrade the structures the community relies on to serve the 4 million annual visitors each calendar year.  The partnering with private business enterprises through the gift of public money should include volunteer assistants capable of completing the necessary documentation for the local approval process.

This means a greater transparency with the gifting activity being performed by the Village of Lake Delton Finance Committee.   This is about creating the opportunity for a stronger engagement from the Wisconsin Dells Area business operators to amplify the ongoing effort to grow the local economy.

The business community expects to see more operators receiving gifts of money from the Village of Lake Delton Finance Committee.  The business community expects to see the availability of documentation coaches who can help an operator through the documentation and approval process.  This activity is in the future of the tourist industry across the Wisconsin Dells area.
