Wisconsin Dells Next Mayor 2 Avoid Costly Litigation

The next mayor of the City of Wisconsin Dells will be expected to update Municipal policy as a need to better inform department participation to prevent the risk of costly litigation related to the following list of resident concerns:

- implications of activity with public - private projects causing breach of contract and furthering unexpected expense

- balancing observed favoritism as relates to the distribution of CDA funding resources

- limited availability of public restrooms in the evening hours

- infringing upon the rights of private property owners to display presentations such as the US Flag

- blocking access to a State of Wisconsin signal controlled highway with a temporary obstruction

- financially benefitting from a public boat launch that does not properly post " unfit for larger boats to access riparian navigable Wisconsin river waterway".

- sending an uncertified municipal employee to selectively make judgements about the condition of the improvements upon your property while threatening financial fines

This is important to be able to accurately call the City of Wisconsin Dells a family friendly resort destination - where making everyone feel welcome is a value shared across the community.  In a City as small as Wisconsin Dells and carrying a municipal debt over 30 million dollars - we cannot afford to continue to operate in the fashion that has heightened our risk to costly litigation.
