Keeping seniors safe when vacation like Wisconsin Dells Summer

These are some senior summer safety tips for summer vacations in locations like Wisconsin Dells.
1. Do not swim alone. Always have another swimmer along and be observant of each other even when only near water.
2. Apply topical sunscreen lotion with trips out doors even on cloudy days. Apply sunblocker about 30 minutes before going outside.
3. With picnic and cookouts wash your hands before and after handling food. Keep meat, poultry refrigerated. Take frequent drinks of cool water to remain adequately hydrated.
