Surrogate Mobility Non-Medical Help

Surrogate mobility is Home Care Path staff who act as a substitute helping with all tasks that require ambulation - the ability to move.  Timeliness is an essential aspect of this supportive service.

Individuals suffering a stroke, scheduled hip surgery, knee surgery, or podiatric correctional surgery can create a period of time where walking is prohibited.  This temporary need can last a couple days all way up to 30 days.

Home Care Path delivers rapid access to staff who can come in to your home and compensate for your inability to walk.  Knowing staff will help preform household tasks allows the patient to rest.  Adequate rest can promote healing and reduce the need for a hospitalization.

Because support is paid privately at 20 dollars per hour, the helper can do more of what the consumer would like taken care of in the home.  Often adult children will schedule this service to support their elder family member after a needed medical process.

Home Care Path staff can assist with errands and visits that accompany a medical procedure.  Knowing another is looking in on your family member can deliver a measure of assurance.   Call Home Care Path at 608-432-4286 to schedule service today!

  1. This is really nice that there are people available to help the elderly move. My grandfather is wheelchair bound, so it is really difficult for him to get different places. I think that it would be really great for him to get surrogate mobility so that he would be able to get around his home better! Thanks for the information, this will probably be a great help for him! http://www.comforcare.com/illinois/chicago-north-west-suburbs
