Epic Systems Wants Some App Store Action In Wisconsin

The Wisconsin State Journal has reported Epic Systems Corporation has plans to develop a platform facilitating the exchange of individual Apps.  Much like the App maker store that supports the popular PATHALONG App http://appsmakerstore.com/appim/j6kcdet8xvwk4s .

Epic is a primary source for (HIE's) Health Information Exchange, described as a collection of health care delivery settings using the same (IT) Information Technology system to streamline data sharing and patient records.  Within the computer network the patients health record moves with them electronically.  HIE's expedite the sharing of (data research) knowledge about large patient groups.

Epic systems has a strong industry presence when it comes to considering the importance of securing a patients privacy.  This can prove tricky when financial prediction correlates corporate wealth across multiple variables of connectivity.

One way for a company that specializes in constructing electronic communication networks to demonstrate progress of connectivity and mobility is to embrace the familiar App store model.  Diversification to forge a perception of expansive connectivity bolstering variables that build corporate value.   This can prove beneficial to the App creator as well.   Working along side Epic software enhances the Apps exposure to a large population of health driven consumers.

Home Care Path wishes Epic Systems Corporation and the many individual App creators much success in the launch of the Epic App Store.
