Wisconsn Identification Cards Prepares For Driverless Vehicles

Wisconsin has announced a developing process to issue State identification cards to citizens.  This will be an important piece of driverless vehicles sharing Wisconsin road ways.  With a driverless vehicle there is no person to license.  The standard driver license will transition to a State issued identification card.

The state Department of Transportation's Division of Motor Vehicles and the Department of Health Services Vital Records Office will combine forces to provide the identification cards.  Wisconsin citizens will be able to supply identity information to local Department of Motor Vehicles Offices.  The local DMV office will forward information to the Wisconsin Vital Records Office.

Wisconsin citizens will have to wait about one week before receiving this new form of State of Wisconsin issued identification card.  This state issued picture identification can be used with opening bank accounts, voting, and applying for public funded health programs.  Most importantly the card replaces the function of the drivers license for citizens who choose to travel in driverless vehicles.

The staff at www.homecarepath.com encourage readers to follow the driverless vehicle initiatives as they unfold.
