Wisconsin Dells Convention Hosting Stage II Promotional Place Making

The Village of Lake Delton has given the Kalahari Resort 10 million publicly collected dollars to build a convention center ( 212 thousand square feet) capable of serving large regional - national groups.  The community is hoping the convention center can be operational within the last quarter of 2019.

Connecting commercial clusters is a digital form of promotion that facilitates local solutions within emerging opportunities to foster a mutually beneficial outcome.

Objectives (2) :

- Sauk County place making effort involves increasing the number of visitors to historic down town Baraboo

- Kalahari Resort reducing amusement burden

Encouraging convention attendees to visit historic down town Baraboo during their stay at the Kalahari Resort produces two positive outcomes.  This populates historic down town Baraboo with people who can experience the way residents work, play, live, and have fun in Sauk County.  This reduces the number of guests using the amusements at the Kalahari Resort -  adding quantity to amusements user period of play - which improves the over all quality of the stay.

The delivery of the digital promotion platforms from an area specific online convention hosting industry site.  Authenticity is communicated through up to date - non enriched images.  Original content adds value that attracts search engines to deliver a stronger distribution of the packaged data.

This is a digital formula for promoting quality initiatives that embed in the convention planning process for the convention organizer and the individual group members.  The above listed objectives lend themselves to numerical outcomes.  For example:

- 30 percent of the group members at the convention center will visit historic down town Baraboo during their stay with the Kalahari Resort

- 30 percent of the group members will exit the amusements at the Kalahari Resort - decreasing the wait times of the remaining amusement users

The Wisconsin Dells area has entered stage II of the convention hosting industry.  This creates a whole new population of shared customers.  This digital effort is a community building activity designed to bolster the quality of the convention visitors stay while expanding on the idea of Sauk County being a great place to work, play, live, and have fun.
