The Village of Lake Delton has given the Kalahari Resort 10 million publicly collected dollars to build a convention center ( 212 thousand square feet) capable of serving large regional- national groups. The Wisconsin Dells area is a small rural community with a population size that is completely unable to adequately meet the new convention centers employee needs.
To compensate the Village of Lake Delton is giving financial incentives to property owners willing to build housing to serve a temporary staff coming in from outside the Country. The typical staff person comes in to the Wisconsin Dells area through a J1VISA Program - which authorizes 90 days for work and 30 days for travel. Every 90 days core convention facility employees must begin training new staff.
An inordinate amount of the core convention facility employee's time is being spent on training new staff. Convention organizers aware of this staffing structure - soon understand the important role of the Wisconsin Dells Conventions HUB Stage II - in communicating area specific information.
The convention organizer will be able to refer the individual members of the attending group to the digital assets of the Wisconsin Dells Conventions HUB Stage II - providing the area specific information much of the facility staff may find as new and not yet known. This helps define the supportive role these digital area specific convention hosting industry sites will play in the ongoing operation of this large new convention facility in the Wisconsin Dells area.
Expect convention organizers to frequently view the Wisconsin Dells Conventions HUB Stage II as an initial piece of the process for presenting the Wisconsin Dells convention facility to a new group. These digital assets will be essential in creating optimal occupancy numbers for this large new convention facility. The Wisconsin Dells Area has entered stage II of the convention hosting industry.
