The Village of Lake Delton has given the Kalahari Resort 10 million publicly collected dollars to build a conventions center ( 212 thousand square feet) capable of serving large regional - national groups. This is expected to attract a whole new huge population of shared customers to the Wisconsin Dells area.
Research in to the tourism industry has revealed guests want an authentic experience. Visitors want an experience that communicates knowledge of the culture and customs of every day life in rural Wisconsin communities.

The Wisconsin Dells area has entered stage II of the convention hosting industry. The Kalahari Resort convention center is expected to become operational in the last quarter of 2019.
