Epic Waves Magic Wand 2 Use Technology 2 Improve Community Wellness

Epic's CEO Judy Faulkner in a red wizards gown and hat spoke to 11 thousand attendees at the Deep Space auditorium.  The presentation links technology to magic to instill a sense of wonder in those attending.

Judy Faulkner declared the time for including social and non-medical strategies to support wellness in the community is here.  This idea facilitates broader inclusion of electronic devices facilitating connections that demonstrate interoperability.

Interoperability speaks to connecting - this is leveraging the benefits of artificial intelligence to strengthen the ability of programs to support health and wellness in the local community.  The Epic CEO asks the attending group to consider how implementing technology to diminish the risk of the opioid epidemic and untimely death would look.

Wisconsin's Home Care Path is implementing a rapid response approach to the opioid epidemic and untimely deaths.  Wisconsin is largely a rural setting that can act to isolate families from needed resources during an unexpected event.

Home Care Path is implementing the Ovilus 5 which has been improved to expand connectivity.  The Ovilus 5 now has an internal rechargeable battery and WiFi facilitating connectivity to Apps, computers, and more.  This is instrumental trans-communication - used to contact a person who no longer has a physical body.

This equipment will be demonstrated as part of the community level intervention to help open the attending population to look, listen, and share as a part of the experience.  The intervention is designed to reinforce the way to use the varied resources available in the community to help prevent further undesired injury and death.

Home Care Path is employing the latest technology to broaden the view to create a climate of inclusion for the supportive organizations performing needed services in the community.  Rapid Response is a proven initiative being used throughout the United States as a supportive intervention with increased incidence of death related to the opioid epidemic.

The staff of Home Care Path reminds the readers of the words of Tom Farley the brother of Chris Farley at a recent talk in Baraboo Wisconsin - There is something really special about who we are and how we do things - it is going to be the biggest factor in your success.
