Obama Care Replacement 3 Things Must Know

The new Administration is working diligently to replace the existing health care law called Obama Care. The initial plan being considered suggests 3 changes that will likely follow to the implementation.

1. Stop fining individuals who do not have health insurance.  Citizens can seek health care service as needed.  This broadens the system gap where providers are challenged to meet the needs of individuals who present without a valid pay source.  Communities can expect the non-profit arm of the health care centers to be more aggressive in there demand for monetary donations.

2. Restructures tax credits.  Participating insurance companies will be expected to shift costs internally and forge mutually beneficial contracts with an adequate provider network.  Expect hospital, clinics, and nursing homes to have a greater labor expense with claims.

3. Freezes Medicaid reimbursement to States in 2020.  This incentivizes States to expand Medicaid rapidly from now till 2020.  This is to assure Federal auditors review accurate numbers of State wide users when determining the limit.  Expect to see public programming funded through Medicaid require a State wide delivery.

These are 3 very initial changes being brought forward in the replacement plan.  Recall that all changes that have been implemented in the past with the United States Health Care System announce their importance to bring cost down and improve access.

Home Care Path invites the readers to continue to follow the changes being brought forward as a reform to reduce cost and improve access.  Wisconsin care coordinators understand the constant all patients and workers experience is "change".
