City of Wisconsin Dells planners are questioning the impact military ducks have on de-populating the Down Town Wisconsin Dells commercial district. The large military ducks consume Broadway parking and function to remove vacationers from the Down Town commercial district.
The Down Town Wisconsin Dells commercial district has multiple wood booths that are stationed on the prime real estate corners - only to sit empty on the long off season. Business owners see their locations being blocked in by large military ducks that shuttle their customers off to another location.
The future of the Down Town Wisconsin Dells commercial district will involve the large military ducks being assigned space to park and load off Broadway. This is a very controversial plan for many who have memories of the Down Town Wisconsin Dells being entirely focused on the River rides.
