The Village of Lake Delton has given the Kalahari Resort 10 million publicly collected dollars to build a convention center ( 212 thousand square feet) capable of serving large regional - national groups. The Wisconsin Dells community is hoping this large new convention facility can be operational by the last quarter of 2019.

The Events Industry Council was known in the past as the Convention Industry Council. This is a non-profit organization committed to advancing the events industry and the professionals who lead the business of meetings. The Events Industry Council has an international reach with a history of communicating value and sustainability for partners within the convention service community.
The Village of Lake Delton is providing financial incentives for franchise hotel operators willing to locate in the Wisconsin Dells area. This is to bolster the availability of rooms which is an essential piece of assuring proper service for larger convention groups.
