The Wisconsin 2015 Budget has added to shore land zoning regulations. NR 115 prevents County entities from adopting shore land regulations that are more restrictive than existing State of Wisconsin shore land regulations. This stream lines regulations for Real Estate Agents delivering a measure of clarity to shore line rules.
This impedes the individual counties from implementing greater set back from water - or creating larger lot size requirements to lessen building density near water ways. This develops more uniform shore land zoning regulations throughout the State of Wisconsin.
