Physicians Plus Insurance Corporation is a Madison Wisconsin health insurance provider.  Physicians Plus employs an integrated (managed care) care delivery model.  Two thirds of Physicians Plus Insurance Corporation is owned by the Meriter Medical Group. 

Meriter Medical Group as a business strategy will direct consumer populations through Physicans Plus Insurance Corporation to utilize Meriter services.  Physicians Plus Insurance Corporation as directed by the Meriter Medical Group will implement care navigation to maximize policy holder groups utilization of Meriter's network providers.

This would increase Meriter Medical Groups annual revenue while reducing Physicans Plus Insurance Corporations out of network monetary claims.  The community will be told this is being done to demonstrate proper stewardship over the monthly premium being paid.
