The Village of Lake Delton gave the Kalahari Resort 10 million publicly collected dollars to build a convention center capable of serving large regional - national groups.  This is a public - private partnership forged to create a physical location designed to attract a huge new population of shared customers in to the Wisconsin Dells area.

To support the success of the new convention center the Village of Lake Delton has given financial incentives to franchise hotel operators who locate in the Wisconsin Dells area.  This assures adequate hotel rooms are available for convention center attendees seeking over night lodging.

The Village of Lake Delton has been providing financial incentives for property owners who construct new housing for the work experience travelers coming from outside of the Country to support tourism efforts in the Wisconsin Dells area.  This helps support the staffing needs of the new convention center.

The Village of Lake Delton is clearing land on Alcan and Miller to construct a law enforcement building.  This location is closer to the new convention center - and accommodates the additional officers that the community will need with the large new population of convention attendees and staff.  This includes the money to replace Alcan drive - the officers will use this road with the new law enforcement building.

Wisconsin Dells Conventions HUB staff are developing an online multi-sided economic platform to support the new convention center Interstate Exit 92 Wisconsin Dells Parkway at the Kalahari Resort.  This digital application will enable convention attendees to get their needs met with the Wisconsin Dells area business services more easily on their convention stay.
