The elder explained they could benefit from the medical procedure but had several reasons why it would never work. The medical procedure would require about a 3 week stay in the nursing rehab center and a bit of help when getting back home.
Reason one - I have fish at home and no one will come and feed them on schedule.
Reason two - I cannot leave the house unoccupied cause the neighborhood has changed.
Reason three - I have to be able to take the garbage out and get the mail and cannot do those things right when get home.
The solution is Home Care Path - which is an organization that integrates services to help an elder keep their house hold on track.
Home Care Path provides the following services capable of meeting the elders changing needs that so often occur with a medical procedure.
1. Pet Visits staff can come on schedule and feed the fish in the elders absence.
2. House Checks staff can come on schedule to check the house in the elders absence.
3. Elder Care Assistant staff can come on schedule to help with chores when the elder returns home but is still recovering.
Simply call 608-432-4286 and request an elder care assistant visit to get started.
