The Village of Lake Delton has given the Kalahari Resort 10 million publicly collected dollars to build a convention center ( 212 thousand square feet) capable of serving large regional - national groups. This is expected to attract a huge new population of shared customers in to the Wisconsin Dells Area.
The Village of Lake Delton has given the property owners of Noah's Ark 1.5 million dollars to construct 2 buildings and a convenience store along Lake Street. This will provide a home for approximately 600 workers who come for a temporary stay in the Wisconsin Dells area. The number of beds available across the Wisconsin Dells area for housing a temporary work staff is very near the numbers of local residents.
The majority of temporary work staff comes from outside of the United States through the Federal J1VISA Program. Without the many J1VISA Program Workers the bulk of Wisconsin Dells area business operations would cease to function. This means the Wisconsin Dells area is politically invested in the parties that will assure entry for significant numbers of individuals across the globe in to the United States through J1VISA like programming.
This means visitors who come in to the Wisconsin Dells area have the opportunity to interact with a global population that has gathered to support tourism. The Wisconsin Dells Area has entered Stage II of the convention hosting industry.
