Medtronic NYSE MDT Going to Pluck That Blood Clot Out

Surgeons are rapidly employing stents which extend from technology to flatten a blood clot , box it in, and pull it out to prevent undesired symptoms of a stroke.  This returns blood flow to a beneficial level maintaining the much needed supply of nutrients and oxygen to the surrounding tissue.

Medtronic NYSE symbol MDT is trading about 74.93 per share with head quarters in Minnesota.  Medtronic acquired Covidien who produces Solitaire Flow Restoration neurological stents designed to supply surgeons who serve stroke patients.

Data indicates approximately 800 thousand patients a year present at hospitals in the United States requiring help for a blood clot in the brain.  Rapid surgical intervention with this flow restoration stent could prevent many from being permanently disabled.

Medtronic MDT is busy educating surgical providers on how this bio-technological innovation can reduce the risk of permanent disability  in local communities.  Home Care Path is wishing them much success with the launch of this much needed product.
