The Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CSTE) is an organization of State and Territories representing public health epidemiologists. Suspected ebola is reported to CSTE who supports surveillance and acts to target resources to prevent ebola transmission and reduce undesired effects of an outbreak.
In Wisconsin reports can be made to 2 CSTE members:
1. Henry Anderson Chief Medical Officer State Environmental and Occupational Epidemiologist
henry.anderson@dhs.wisconsin.gov
2. Jeffrey Davis Chief Medical Officer and State Epidemiologist
Jeffrey.davis@wisconsin.gov
CSTE members have greater internal site access to current information related to the presence of ebola. This is for the purpose of coordinating best practice interventions in a rapid fashion to the identified geographical location of need.
Local health system providers can expect to receive market driven incentives to update their technological capability to effectively participate in this important data exchange .
